Agricultural utility;
AMILA is a medium early variety with high density sward and excellent durability. It gives high yields of fresh and dry weight. High yields of biomass combined with good yielding seed. The variety has good winter hardiness and regrowth after swaths. This variety has a medium soil and medium-high fertilizer requirements.

Cultivation for green masse;
Cocksfoot for green masse can be grown on all soils except dry sandy soils and wetlands. However, gives the highest yields on fertile soils. Good yield of lighter soils, but sufficiently moist and richly fertilized with nitrogen.
Cocksfoot can be grown in pure stand or as an undersown in cereals. When grown without a cover crop, sown cocksfoot can be up to 15 August. For best results, however, early-sowing and summer (June, July). Practicing as an undersown in cereals, good results are achieved by sowing in early spring barley.
When grown in pure stand pre-applied mineral fertilizers at a dose of about 50 kg N, 60-90 kg P2O5 and 80-120 kg K2O per ha. In the full use of phosphate fertilizers in quantities of 100-120 kg P2O5 per ha may be sown at once in early spring, while the nitrogen and potassium should be supplied to each set in a dose of 60-80 kg N and 50-70 kg K2O per ha. Seeding cocksfoot, as undersown increase the phosphorus-potassium fertilization of spring barley by about 40%. After harvesting, sow a cover crop must be 60-80 kg N per ha.
Pre-sowing crops in the band should strive for accurate alignment weed free fields.
When grown in pure stand should be 12-15 kg of seeds sown per 1 ha, while in cover plant around 15-20 kg / ha.
In the year we make full use of 3-4 cuts. The first crop should be collected at the beginning of earing plants, and the latest by 30 September.

Cultivation for seed;
In better conditions for supply of soil nutrients and water reacts very strong vegetative growth. For seed production should not be assumed on very fertile soil if too wet, and in areas with higher rainfall.
When grown for seed is sown cocksfoot rationally common in early spring in a spring barley, a reduced amount of seed grain. They can also be harvested legumes for seed, than sowing norm reduced by 40-50%. Make sowing a cover crop in the first place. Then across the rows are planted grass seed to a depth of 1.5 cm.
The recommended sowing rate for grass is 3-5 kg per ha. The recommended width spacing for seed is 50-70 cm.

In each year of the harvest to sow 80-100 kg P2O5 and 100-120 kg K2O per ha and nitrogen at doses of 40-80 kg per ha in early spring and 60-80 kg per ha after harvest of seed, or plant protection.
For weed control chemicals used in accordance with the recommendations of plant protection.
Orchard grass seed harvesting can be done in different ways:
- A collection of two-phase - mowing and threshing combine
combine a set of double-first from the trunk (high mowing), the second of drying up plants.
