Agricultural and utility
ARTEMA is a medium-early variety with high winter hardiness and good resistance to dry conditions. It gives high yields of fresh and dry weight throughout the period of use. It has a very good pace and good spring regrowth after cuts. It is a variety of plants with high tendency for hatching in the first swath. Is also characterized by good reproductive capacity in the first swath. This variety has a medium high climatic and agronomic requirements and average soil.

Growing for seeds
The variety can be grown on all types of soils except waterlogged soils. The presence of couch grass and other grass crops strangely excluded. The most suitable sowing date is the period of early-/ in pure sowing /. It can be spread by the end of June.
Standard sowing seeds - 11 kg / ha in rows spaced 25 cm.
Before sowing, use mineral fertilization in the amount of 80-100 kg / ha P2O5 and 100-120 kg / ha of K2O.
In the spring and second year of use apply phosphorus fertilizer - potassium in an amount of 90 kg / ha P2O5 and K2O 60kg/ha. The amount of nitrogen is dependent on the position, soil fertility and crop years.
After the root of good manure to soils usually do not apply nitrogen in the first year for fear of lodging. In another case, we use nitrogen in the spring: in the first year of full use of 50 kg /ha
in the second year of full use of 60 kg / ha
After harvesting the seeds in the first year of operation we use nitrogen in an amount of 40-50 kg / ha.
Harvesting the seeds must be made in the maturity phase of milky-wax; deadline set drops from the beginning of July.
For weed control at sowing the cover crop is best to use Mustang 306 SE at 0.6 l / ha and 330 pure stand STOMP SC at 5 l / ha. On the plantations mature (1-3 years) can apply Stomp 330 SC 5l/ha + Mustang 306 SE 0.6 l / ha.
Two-phase equipment gives the best value in use of the seeds. After dry on the field - thresh combine.
After the equipment immediately remove the seeds and straw to make a complete fertilizer, because in the second half of July and August of generative shoots grow.

Growing for green mass
Sowing of seeds of 25-30 kg / ha.
Before sowing mineral fertilization use phosphorus-potassium in an amount of 80-100 kg / ha P2O5 and 100-120 kg / ha of K2O. In the full use of phosphate fertilizers in quantities of 60-80 kg / ha P2O5 once sown in early spring. While nitrogen and potassium should be applied to each set in doses ranging from 60-80 kg / ha N and 50-60 kg / ha of K2O.
In the year we make full use of three sets. And crop should be gathered in the early heading stage of plant, and the latest by 30 September.
