Perennial Ryegrass: Anna
Diploid variety, typical pasturing variety. Is characterized by a high power spring growth, the earliest of the Polish varieties (average 2 weeks earlier) and a high yield of green and dry matter over the lifetime (1100-1300 d. dt / ha and 230-259 sm dt / ha) and the fast pace of regrowth. Good palatability, digestibility of dry matter of about 78%, protein content in dry approximately 16%, 12.5% sugar content. Has good winter hardiness, disease resistance and lodging. It can be sown in mixture with white clover.
Entered into in 1988.
Soil conditions:
Good yield on fertile soils of regulated water relations and good culture. Optimum pH 6 - 6.5.
For seed production – the best in crop rotation is after legume and oilseed rape, early varieties of potatoes. The field should be free of couch grass.
Fertilization:
For green mass production :
before sowing - P2O5 and K2O at 100 -120 kg / ha, N - 60 kg / ha.
Before moving vegetation: P2O5 and K2Opo 80 - 120 kg / ha, N - 60 -100 kg / ha. After each grazing N 60 - 80 kg / ha.
For seed production:
fertilization as for green mass production.
In use, a single complete fertilizer in spring. Doses of NPK lake before sowing.
Sowing term:
For green production: sowing date in any period from late April to mid-September.
Sowing of 15 kg / ha or in mixtures 15 kg + 3-5 kg with white clover, 12.5 cm row spacing, seeding depth of 1 - 1.5 cm.
For seed production:
Recommended for sowing in the period from 25 August to 15 September.
Spring sowing possible together with the plant (early varieties of barley and spring wheat)
Seeding rate:
- 15 kg / ha,
- with other plant - 70-90 kg / ha of spring barley and 90-100 kg / ha of spring wheat + 15 kg / ha of grass,
- 12.5 cm row spacing, seeding depth: 1 cm
